Mentoring

I am a qualified writing professional with an undergraduate degree in literary and language studies, a Masters degree in Creative Writing, whose thesis focused on fostering dadirri in reading and listening-with Aboriginal women’s poetics. In 2015, I earned my doctorate in Creative Writing from Melbourne University with a thesis titled Subjective Renewals: Tropes of Archaeological Body in the Verse Novels of Anne Carson and Dorothy Porter & Sonqoqui: a Verse Novel.

With over a decade of experience in the university sector, having supervised postgraduate writers in their scholarly thesis and creative manuscript tasks, having served as a sessional tutor in both the creative writiung program at Melbourne University and attendant residential colleges, and having worked in community, therapeutic and grass-roots organisations in the mentoring of girls and women in developing their own empowered and sustainable creative practices, including service as a Year 12 Mentor in the Steiner curriculum, I am well equipped to support your creative vision and goals, and to hold space for you from inception to project completion, whatever your creative project, modality, desired development goals or book-length manuscript might be.

Contact me if you’d like to benefit from the services of a highly attuned and qualified INFJ/Splenic Projector to support you in your creative path from vision to manifestation.
